“In Hindsight, I Should Have Started Active Again Earlier”
Share
I decided to first try Active Again on my mastiff mix, Otis, who is 8 now and was 6 at the time and started having knee and hip issues. It took a few weeks, but he did slowly start to improve. I take him to a different vet for chiropractic care, (since my boss does not do that) and she is amazed how he is doing. The even more amazing dog is my Rottweiler, Zeus. He is 11 years old. He was born with bi- lateral hip dysplasia and has a bad neck, possible wobbles type condition. When I adopted him at 2 years of age, the vet I worked for then did not think he would be mobile past the age of 6 or 7. That’s when he went on the prescription food and joint supplements. He walks funny, never ever acted painful until a little over a year ago, with severe pain in his neck, and starting to have trouble going up stairs and slippery floors. I started taking him to chiropractor vet and on the Active Again, in hindsight, I should have started Active Again earlier. He has done amazing since I started it, I’d say within a couple of weeks. I sure never thought we would celebrate his 10th or 11th birthday at all, and he is happy and pain free, doing good on slick floors and wants to do the stairs, (but we defer him from that). He is doing so much more than he did prior to taking the Active Again. He does still have to take a low dose of steroids, but no pain meds at all.
